KSE 2011 provides an open forum for intensive discussions and interchange of the latest advances in Knowledge and Systems Engineering research. The Third Conference on Knowledge and Systems Engineering invites submission of papers to its annual meeting to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam in October, 2011. Invited papers are of original and unpublished research on the indicated conference topics and related areas of application. This year, the conference is co-organized by Hanoi University, the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, and the Faculty of IT, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is a 1000 year old city famous for its sacred lakes, 36 ancient streets, and the old-world atmosphere of its French quarter. The four-day KSE’2011, conference will be held in this city, October 14-17, 2011. As part of the conference, The Second International Workshop on Empathic Computing (IWEC-11) will be organized at the same venue. KSE 2011 solicits contributions dealing with any aspect of Knowledge and Systems Engineering.
