Course Objectives

The course has been designed to give graduates from all disciplines the opportunity to develop hybrid skills which are in much demand in society, it is felt, will provide good employability and career development opportunities in Vietnam and overseas.

This course will enable students to identify appropriate systems methodologies and to apply them to particular problem domains and to design appropriate computer based solutions to meet the needs of the business. Students will evaluate potentially applicable systems development methodologies, design and evaluate alternative solutions, and finally develop suitable implementations using appropriate database and web technologies.

Aligned with this is the development of the necessary and up-to-date skills required by managers to handle large complex problems within industry. These individuals need to be able to communicate with users and developers and appreciate the complexities of a number of technical solutions that can help organisations achieve competitive advantage in an ever more demanding and technically complex environment. This course will provide the necessary skills to support graduates in this type of role.
